The Gruffalo

The Gruffalo is a children’s book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. It tells the story of a mouse who takes a walk in the woods and encounters a number of predators, only to outwit them all by inventing an imaginary monster, the Gruffalo. The book has become a classic of children’s literature, selling millions of copies worldwide and being translated into over fifty languages.
