Artemis Fowl

Artemis Fowl is a young adult fantasy novel by Eoin Colfer. It follows the adventures of Artemis Fowl II, a 12-year-old criminal mastermind, as he attempts to extort gold from the secret Fairy People of Ireland. Along the way, he must battle the fairies’ magical technology and outwit a host of enemies, including the evil fairy police force, the Lower Elements Police Reconnaissance (LEPrecon). With the help of his loyal bodyguard, Butler, and a mysterious fairy named Holly Short, Artemis must find a way to save his family and the world from a powerful enemy.
